4. Flexible manufacturing system: This is a comprehensive automated processing system that uses CNC machining lathes, automatic output devices, devices that automatically replace and store tools, fixtures and workpieces, and a computer control system that can transform multiple processing objects.

5. Virtual enterprise: In order to solve the problem of producing customized products with the benefit of high-precision CNC lathes in large quantities, the American advanced manufacturing technology plan has adopted agile manufacturing as the American 21st century manufacturing strategy. The following basic conditions should be met to realize the production of a virtual enterprise:

① An information highway that can deliver the correct information to the correct person at the correct time has been established;

③The corporate culture of mutual trust, mutual cooperation, and abiding by the law is dominant in the society.

6. Modular manufacturing system: Modular manufacturing system is a new manufacturing system for products with ordinary technical difficulties, and a "flexible" production system established on the basis of standardized and modular systems. Its characteristic is that when a new product is put into production, standardized modules can quickly form a new manufacturing system, and when the product is completed, the modules that make up the manufacturing system can be removed for use in other new product manufacturing systems.
